Relays

Me and Izzy from FDA Fashion and two graphic design students taught a number of workshops to secondary school students at a school in Bridport.
We taught Graphic design and styling and worked on customizing and printing on T.Shirts. The students flicked through magazines and made their own collages and T.Shirt designs to be scanned into the computer, reversed on Photoshop and printed onto T.Shirt printing paper to be ironed onto white T. shirts which the students could keep. We did this also at an urban festival at the school. This festival focused on motivating de- motivated teenagers. At the festival there were workshops on free jumping, skating, BMXing, D.Jing, graffitti and T.Shirt customization. The kids loved it, the festival got a raving review in The Times educational supliment and many of the kids have now taken an interest in fashion and graphic design as a result.
